{Paper Smooches} Feline Friends Icons

Today, I’m sharing a quick and easy card using the Feline Friends stamp set and coordinating Feline Friends Icons. My parents used to have a black and white cat and our current family cat is a brown tabby but I’ve always wanted an orange kitty (or creamsicle kitty, as I like to call them) so I decided to make an orange kitty the highlight of my card. I just love the way this die cuts around the tail and the white stripes on his back!

I used Memento Luxe inks to stamp the kitty and his hoard of fish. Yum! I love the smooth consistency and excellent coverage of these pigment inks. I also used the Quotables and Stitched Dies to create the hill. Then I heat embossed a sentiment from Birthday Sampler to finish the card, making it the perfect birthday card for any cat-lover.
