Welcome to the second Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge in July! This week’s challenge is Let’s Be Clear, which means you need to use something clear on your project, whether it’s clear stamps, acetate, vellum, glossy accents, clear beads or clear sequins. The design team is featuring Clearly Besotted products. You don’t have to use it but we’d love to see some if you have it.

I used Clearly Besotted‘s Fabulous Fuchsias clear stamp set and its coordinating dies. I fell in love with these flowers as soon as I saw them and I love how easy it was to use the solid stamps to “colour” in the flowers. the dies also make it easy to create your own two-coloured flowers, whether you’re using the outlines or just the solid portions.

I stamped half of the large flowers with Rose Bud and the other half with Lilac Posies pigment inks. The cute polka-dotted leaves were stamped with Olive Grove pigment ink and the beautiful sentiment was stamped with Versamark ink, then heat embossed in white.

One winner will be chosen at random to win a $50 gift voucher to the awesome Simon Says Stamp Store!
It could be you!
I hope you will play along with us this week!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Wednesday. 🙂

  2. This is so pretty and elegant, Em! Not sure it would have occurred to me to use lilac posies and rose bud together, but looking at this, I'm definitely going to!

  3. This is so elegant, Emily! I love this CBS stamp and die set, and your colored the images so beautifully! Love how you used 2 different shades of gray on this card, too…so pretty!
