Welcome to the Mama Elephant May Design Team blog hop! Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store.

GIVEAWAY ALERT! To celebrate the new release, Mama Elephant is giving away one of each of the new stamps released! Winners will be chosen at random from the collective blogs in the Stampede. Winners will be announced on the blog on the last Stamp Highlights Day.

Today, I’m featuring Sweet Havana and coordinating Sweet Havana Creative Cuts. The florals are sooo beautiful but the highlight is really the antique jug. I love that built-in worn detail which adds so much character to it. The sentiments cover the gamut from hello, love, get well and sympathy cards. Of course, you can customize it in so many ways!

Floral arrangement is not one of my strengths and it turns out it’s just as true with floral stamps and dies as it is with real flowers. LOL! Eventually, I managed to arrange them in a natural, realistic way. 😉 I love that four different flowers and four different leaves can provide so many possibilities! The card base was created with the Femme Frames Creative Cuts using a technique shown in THIS video.

You have up to 3 chances to qualify to win one of the 4 new stamp sets! Just leave a separate comment for each!

  1. Any added help with shading is always appreciated. Love how the jug and flowers are raised off the background. Gives the card more depth. The flowers look great. I'm flower-arranging challenged also.

  2. That card is just beautiful. You make it look so easy, but a look at the supply list tells a different story. Great work as always.

  3. I love your colour choices in this layout and all the texture you have incorporated with the woodgrain, stitch lines, gold embossing, but the card is beautifully serene, good stuff!
