{Mama Elephant} Stamp Highlight: Just Hatched

It’s Day 1 of the Mama Elephant Stamp Highlights for the March Release and today the design team is featuring Just Hatched. This stamp set is perfect for spring. With four sweet little animals and cracked eggshells, this set can be used for all sorts of occasions from new baby and hello to love and encouragement! Simply pair up the larger scripted sentiments with the many smaller ones, use the speech bubbles or stamp simply like I have here.

To create my card, I cut a top panel and used the coordinating Just Hatched Creative Cuts to die cut all the animals. Placing the panel flat against the card base, I used the negatives to stamp the animals on to the card base. After I coloured them with Copic markers, I die cut the bottom half of the eggs using pretty Simon Says Stamp cardstock. I adhered the shells directly on the top panel, stamped the sentiment and popped the panel on to the card base with foam tape. This adds depth to the scene and makes the animals look like they’re nestled cozily in their shells.
