Welcome to the first Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge in March! This week’s challenge is Tag It which means you need to incorporate a tag in your project. The design team is featuring products by Ranger Industries. You don’t have to use them but we’d love to see them if you have any!

I used the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Tag & Tie die to create my tag from kraft cardstock. I sponged the edges with Frayed Burlap distress ink and partially stamped Hero Arts’ Large Petal Background in Walnut Stain distress ink. I used My Favorite Things’ Houndstooth stencil with metallic silver embossing paste on one corner.

To create the flower, I die cut Paper Smooches’ Poinsettia dies from white sticky-back canvas. To colour the flowers, I applied the ink pads directly to my Ranger Craft Sheet, sprayed the ink with a mister and blotted the die cuts in the distress inks. To hold the petals in their shape, I applied multi-medium gloss and used a heat tool to speed up the drying process.

One winner will be chosen at random to win a $50 gift voucher to the awesome Simon Says Stamp Store!
It could be you!
I hope you will play along with us this week!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Wednesday. 🙂
