Welcome to the second Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge in January! This week’s challenge is Ice Inspiration based on this lovely mood board that Laura created for us. The design team is featuring Distress Glitter or Glitter Ritz products. You don’t have to use them but we’d love to see them if you have any!

I used Tim Holtz Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter on my card as glistening snow on the trees, the deer and hills. I drew my inspiration from the three photos that included two deer, so basically a diagonal line from the top left corner down to the bottom right corner. Most of my colours appear in all of the photos and I used a pop of blue for the sentiment.

All of the stamps are from Mama Elephant’s Winter Wonderland and Many Thanks stamp sets. The hills were cut from My Favorite Things’ Snow Drifts Die-namics and sponged with distress inks. I used Memento Luxe inks to stamp the sentiment, trees and deer. I stamped the trees in three different colours, two of them second generation to give depth to the background. The deer were rock ‘n’ rolled to give them two tones just like in the first photo.

One winner will be chosen at random to win a $50 gift voucher to the awesome Simon Says Stamp Store!
It could be you!
I hope you will play along with us this week!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Wednesday. 🙂
