Due to last week’s ice storm and loss of power, I wasn’t able to participate in the Paper Smooches Design Team Blog Hop on Thursday but this is the project I would’ve shared had I been able to blog. 🙂
My card features the Botanicals 2 stamp set, Frame 1 Die and Documented Dies. I also used the Flag Tags Dies. First, I dry embossed the card base across the centre a woodgrain embossing folder. Then I die cut a couple of flags using the medium Flag Tags Dies. Next, I die cut the Frame 1 Die, which coordinates with Duo Die 1, and stamped the branch from Botanicals 2 in gorgeous Memento Luxe Olive Grove ink. Then I die cut ‘remember’ across the frame using the Documented Dies. Visually, the word divides the frame in thirds. After backing the frame with black, I adhered the flags flat on the card base and the frame with foam tape, followed by enamel dots that coordinate with the patterned paper.
Reminder: The January/CHA 2014 Release Party will take place on the Splitcoast Forum this Tuesday, December 31st from 10:00 p.m. EST to midnight. Since we didn’t have a release party last month, this one is going to be extra special. Bring your champagne and party with us!!
