Hello, crafty friends! It’s Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. We have a four-day weekend and we’re visiting my mother-in-law. In honour of the cooler weather that’s arriving just in time for this weekend, I have three fall cards in an unusual colour palette. I actually started working on these a year ago but put them away and recently came across the pile while destashing my craft room!
My second card (and favourite of the three) features the Crossed Lines Cardfront heat foiled with Opal Hot Foil on Neenah white linen cardstock. I fell in love with this cardstock (and it’s my most-stocked) via Ellen Hutson but now I’m happy to be able to source it locally at Spicers, thanks to my friend Karen.
I really love the layout of this card and can see myself using this design again with different products. What do you think?
This last card is more bold because it features a Midnight Green background which has the Crossed Lines Cardfront, again heat foiled with Opal Hot Foil. I love the subtle effect of opal hot foil on just about any cardstock!
I arranged the fall elements, featured here in Rose Water, Peridot, Sea Glassand Fog, in more of a close-knit format rather than a linen cascading format like the previous card.
To finish this card, the sentiments and some of the elements were popped up on foam squares. I added tiny Oyster Pearl Dots to the centres of the flowers but offset them slightly so the Speckled Prism Hot Foil would still show up.
I hope you enjoyed today’s projects! I appreciate you stopping by and, if you’re inspired, please shop my affiliate links below. Thanks so much for your continued support!
