Welcome to the second Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge in November! This week’s challenge is all about Thanks/Thanksgiving and the design team is featuring Hero Arts products. You don’t need to use Hero Arts products but we’d love to see them if you have them! Just make sure your projects have a Thanks/Thanksgiving theme. My card features two Hero Arts stamps, plus a Hero Arts cut file.

I used one of the leaves from this Autumn Leaves cut file and my Silhouette Cameo to create the front of the card. The sentiment is from Thanks A Bunch and I masked it off before stamping the Simple Leaf Background and resist embossing with several distress inks. This is what the second layer looked like before I adhered the top piece with foam tape.

The tilted panel features patterned paper from the Classic Calico, Vol 3 paper pad and my embellishments include brown burlap string and a woodgrain sequin. I love putting rhinestones or pearls inside sequins and this time I used a pearl which I coloured with Copic marker B06 to coordinate with the card base. (Copic markers and refills are 25% off right now!!!)

One winner will be chosen at random to win a $50 gift voucher to the awesome Simon Says Stamp Store!

It could be you!

I hope you will play along with us this week!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Wednesday. 🙂

And oh, did you say copies were on sale…? I'm on it!! Lol!! Thanks! Ha!

  2. I think I would have had trouble covering up that emboss resist panel, it is just so gorgeous! But I really do like how it looks with the cut panel on top, so you obviously made the right decision. 😉 Beautiful, Em!
