It’s Day 1 of the Mama Elephant Stamp Highlights for the October Release and today the design team is featuring Winter Wonderland. This is a fantastic builder set with so many possibilities. I love the combination of birch trees, fauna, accessories and four beautiful sentiments.

I chose to create a scene at dusk by stamping and heat embossing the birch trees in white, then sponged the entire panel – die cut from Femme Frames – with distress inks. Once the background was finished, I stamped the buck and fawn, then dressed up the antlers with gold ornaments. The sentiment was stamped last.

I trimmed a white mat for the stitched rectangle and die cut the scallop rectangle – also from Femme Frames – from crepe paper. All three white panels were adhered together flat, then raised on the grey card base with foam tape. I love the delicate, pretty look of the sponged background and crepe scallop frame together.

Please be sure to visit the rest of the design team to see what they came up with using Winter Wonderland.

I’ll have a video for tomorrow’s stamp highlight! See you then. 🙂
