Kim shared this card on the Paper Smooches Blog earlier this week. It features one of this month’s releases, Beboppin, which is a super fun set dedicated to music. Patterned papers from BasicGrey’s Hipster paper pad set the tone for this card. I used masking paper to stamp the cassette tape without the centre in order to create a turntable for the record. I used the long music note as the arm that plays the record. On the label, I created ‘You & Me’ using Chart Toppers. I love that those tiny words can fit into the small spaces on other stamp sets. To finish, I stamped one of the main sentiments from Beboppin on a Word Bubbles die and assembled the scene.
Thanks for stopping by today! Our five-week-long bathroom renovation is wrapping up today and I am so excited!!!

Oh! I'm so excited that your bathroom will be done 🙂 Woohoo for that!
And this card – shut the front door, because once again you have absolutely done something amazing! That background paper could not be more perfect for this super awesome retro vibe amazingness. I need a thesaurus. Or to say 'cobbled' again 😛
this is so very fabulous! Makes me wanna break out the vinyl! 🙂
Soooo clever Emily…. The best bit is the musical note as the playing arm… Genius :0)
