This is my second entry for Paper Crafts magazine‘s 2013 Gallery Idol Open Auditions. My cousin’s son, Ryan, is celebrating his third birthday next week and the party is this weekend. It’s no surprise that he’s asked for more Thomas trains to add to his collection. I decided to feature the big locomotive from Epic Love as ‘Thomas’. I also used one of the stars as a ball. The sentiment is from It’s Your Day. The bear and coordinating die was an Archiver’s exclusive. I wanted to incorporate numbers somehow but stamping a number seemed to clutter up the card too much. I finally decided to partially emboss numbers at the top and bottom of the white panel.
You have four more days to enter. Go for it! Be daring. 😉

Adorable Emily! Love the embossing too 🙂
Cute card for little-ones…
That bear's expression is so cute, I love the embossing on the borders too!
This would be why you don't need coloured pencils of any kind, because you are so awesome with Copics! :)Perfect train and ball background stamping, and the partial emboss is perfect, too.
Too too cute! Love the embossing and your coloring! Good luck!
That partial embossing is GENIUS! Love it! And I love the sweet scene you created 🙂 I don't particularly miss the Thomas days – oh man, is it ever HARD to find some of those trains! Rocky the Crane. I will have nightmares about that one forever, lol!
Absolutely ADORABLE, Emily! I love how you raised up the bear and your partial embossing is the perfect touch! Good luck…fingers crossed for you!!!
