Happy Mother’s Day to all you amazing moms out there! I hope you’re being spoiled by your children and husbands, just like this card suggests. LOL! I love creating fun scenes like this which was, in fact, a publication reject. First, I stamped the living room chair from Vogue Abode on one side of the background and the laundry equipment from Squeaky Clean on the other, leaving white space in the centre to create the illusion of different rooms.

Then I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the mad scientist from Great Chemistry and lady from Jive Turkey to create a busy husband and impressed wife. They are adhered to the card base with foam tape. I didn’t like how speech bubbles would’ve looked so I found another trick for making the sentiment look like a speech phrase. The little curvy line is the letter ‘J’ from the Alphadot stamp set.
