Kim shared this card on the Paper Smooches New Flash yesterday. If you don’t already subscribe to the newsletter, you can sign up at the bottom of the left sidebar HERE. My card features mostly stamps from A Magical Spring, with stamps from I Heart Art and FOLKal Points. It also features the Clipboard and Notebook dies and their coordinating mini stamp sets. They are awesome!!

My son has been playing teacher lately and it’s the cutest thing. He carries his clipboard around, instructing his stuffed animals on how to write the letters and numbers, and that’s where I got the idea for this card. The pencil crayons are lying on the clipboard for doodling on the notebook paper. Super fun, right?

Questionnaire: So my big question for all of you is, if I were to make videos on a regular basis, what would you like to see?

There is also a big Paper Smooches giveaway at Moxie Fab World that you don’t want to miss. 😉 Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

  1. Cards, cards and more cards! From start to finish (mostly anyway…we all know how to make card bases) also videos showing your design process/inspiration. Love card videos!! can't wait 🙂

  2. Now that is an awesome inspiration! And how cool did it turn out? Love it 🙂 As for the video question….I have no idea! I've enjoyed them all. Maybe how you store your dies?

  3. Your guy has his own clipboard already? If you're having to share yours, I might have an extra or three. 😛
I just love the design of this, and the sweet little note clipped onto it.
Videos… hmm. More of your colouring techniques, perhaps?

  4. Love that your son is the teacher! Kids just want something they can boss around….our girls are constantly putting their animals/dolls in time out. Very cute card. OK, so videos. I loved that video you did where you talked about your PS process….having all the photos around the house. I would love to see videos that talk about process in terms of picking out the papers/embellishments – how you make those kinds of choices too.

  5. this card is all kinds of perfect! I like videos about techniques, and how a project comes together. I also like them to be fairly short…if they're too long, I skip the coloring, cutting, etc. just my opinion.

  6. Ca-ute! Love the clipboard and the doodled scene on the notepaper. And I can just see the little dude putting his toys through their paces. 🙂

  7. This is so creative and cute Emily! How I love the "doodle" look of the card! Oh, I would love for you to do videos! I've just started 2 weekly video series, and I love doing it so much! Something about being able to actually film a video…I don't know, I just enjoy doing it. I would love for you to do some videos on your wonderful coloring! And how you are able to use Paper Smooches stamps to create such CAS cards! I find that quite a challenge sometimes!
