Hello, crafty friends! Even though we have a lot of snow on the ground, the sun is shining and I can feel that spring is coming. The new Easter Release from Taylored Expressions makes the prettiest cards and I have a video showing you just how easy it is!

This post features the Serene Scene Promo Bundle and I apologize for the photo-heavy post but I just can’t help it! I love all the layers and dimension in these dies, and they’re so easy to use which makes mass-producing a piece of cake.

I made three cards to show you how the same dies can be used in different ways. You really can’t go wrong. All of the cards use the Serene Scene Cutting Plate as the frame. My colour palette for these projects include Rose Water, Raspberry Sorbet, Spearmint, Salt Water Taffy, ToffeeSea Salt and, of course, Sugar Cube.

This first card also features the Serene Scene – Easter Edition dies, which includes the flowers, bunnies and eggs. I used the coordinating ink colours and blender brushes to add depth to the die cuts. I added some grass details using the Set the Scene – Grass Stencil Strips.

The frame was cut from the Frame in Frame 3 Cutting Plate and the tiny hearts were cut from silver glitter cardstock with the Little Bits – Wonky Hearts. All of the sentiments are from the Easter Egg-stras Stamp Set and I love the big, gorgeous flourish-y fonts!
If I had to choose a favourite from this set, it would have to be this second card. The Serene Scene Cutting Plate cut from Raspberry Sorbet makes a statement, especially with the elegant white heat embossed sentiment.

The inside hills and clouds feature the Serene Scene – Landscapes and the church is from Serene Scene – Easter Edition. I stacked the church three layers high and added silver glitter cardstock behind the window and door.

The base panel was texturized with the Diamonds Piercing Plate which adds the perfect amount of texture needed and gives this card its wow factor.

This last card features a flat, mailable shaker with majestic glitter sandwiched between two layers of acetate taped together. If I were to change one thing, it would be to place a white panel behind the shaker because it’s on a Sea Salt card base and that makes it quite stormy looking.

This card features dies from both the Serene Scene – Landscapes and Serene Scene – Easter Edition but in a very different combination from the other two cards. As you can see, simply switching up the colour of the Serene Scene Cutting Plate makes a big difference in the overall look of the card.

One thing that stands out the most on this card is the sentiment and I’m tempted to start writing my Ss like this because it’s so pretty!
There’s an amazing Serene Scene Promo Bundle and gift with purchase, only available from March 7-9th so I encourage you to take advantage of this fabulous offer while you can!
