Welcome to {Day 5} of the Lil’ Inker Designs September Release Blog Hop! You should’ve come from Karen Baker‘s blog but, if not, be sure to start at Laura Pryor’s blog for all the details. Today, the core team is showcasing the final die release, Stitched Sentiment Flag Die, and the colour team is featuring more of the new illustrated stamp sets from 2 Cute Ink and Sugar Kissed Cottage.

I created the base of my card using the Texture Plate Collection – Frame 1 and die cut three posts from the Sentiment Flags Additions Dies. Then I die cut several Stitched Sentiment Flags in three different colours. On three of the white flags, I used one of the floral background stamps from the Flip Flops Stamp Set. Then I arranged them on the posts and stapled them on just a bit crooked for visual interest and movement. I attached them on to the textured base with foam tape, stamped a sentiment which I customized from the new You’re Invited Stamp Set and added rhinestones to finish the card.

Here are the blogs you’ll want to visit today for a chance to win a stamp set of your choice from the new illustrated releases or one of two $10 store credits!

  1. OH my what a darling card. Love the frame embossing and those banners the way you made them across the card is so darling. The pole is awesome. Very cute and great idea. Really a stunning card. Hugs

  2. 100% LID card elements! LOVE your use of the flip-flop patterned stamps for your banners.. The arrangement reminds me of fancy guest towels hanging in a paneled powder room. Bright yet elegant at the same time. Another winner card.
