Today, the Avocado Arts Pit Crew is sharing projects using the August release, Perfectly Perfect Day. For this one-layer card, I used quite a few stamps from this set including the tree, leaves, breeze, tire swing and of course the grass.  This is the most incredible grass stamp ever and I love it layered. I used it on all three of my cards this month!

Some of the leaves were stamped in a single green, either light or dark, and I used the rock-and-roll technique on others to give the scene dimension. The breezes and blowing leaves, in combination with the swing, give the card movement. The sentiment was created with Avocado Style Borders & Sentiments and Hello Friend.

I love all the possibilities this set offers! It is so great for many occasions and the stamps provide a ton of options for scene-building. If you’d like to purchase Perfectly Perfect Day, just click on the graphic above. Avocado Arts would love to see you using their stamps! Remember, there’s a publication incentive, too. 😉 Don’t forget to check out the following posts for more inspiration:

We’ve had the most beautiful weather here for the past four days. There’s a crispness in the air and it almost feels like fall has arrived which I love because that’s my favourite time of year. I hope you’re all having a great week so far!

  1. Such a sweet card – I can totally see the movement in that swing!
I love autumn (fall) too – I guess you get the same amazing colours we do over here…! 🙂
    Hugs!

  2. I am so excited for fall – this morning the air is a little crisp, but I think we still have a week of hot weather ahead…but the end is in sight!
I love this grass stamp – it lines up so nicely! And how sad is that little tire swing? Needs a buddy to come play 🙂

  3. SO pretty–it is such a sweet scene. The wind and the way you inked the leaves really gives the card movement. I LOVE the tire swing…it looks so real (as real as a tire swing on a card can look). 😉

  4. Oooooh, this is so sweet! Love the swirls in the back and the idea of an empty swing with this sentiment is just perfect! The perfect way to emphasize the words of the sentiment, with a fitting image! (not exactly the words I wanted to use, thinking in Dutch, but hope you know what I mean…)
    Hugs, Wendy
