It’s a busy week for me and I didn’t really plan to blog again ’til next week but I have two Paper Smooches cards to share with you!

This first card was shared on the Paper Smooches Blog earlier this week. It uses one of the newest releases, Graffiti, along with glossy lips from A Little Lovin. The letters from Graffiti are big and so much fun to use. I just lined up the letters and stamped them on three colours of cardstock. Then I quickly snipped them out individually, lined them up on the card and adhered them in place. This set really takes clean and simple card making to the next level.

This second card was in the July News Flash for last month’s release of Teen Routine so you may have gotten a peek of it then. The layout was inspired by one of Kim’s Designer Drafts. Did you know that Kim offers tons of cool sketches you can follow when you make your cards? I don’t often use sketches but when the mood or need strikes, I only have to go so far as the Paper Smooches Blog! 🙂

This card is what I would describe as a scene within a scene. It’s a lovely iPad episode with two adorable little chick friends (from My Peeps and Green Acres) having a chat. I put all the colour in the screen since it’s the focus of the card. The hill was made using a sheet of bright yellow cardstock from the Beverly Collection and I distressed the top edge to give the card more texture. The tree is from Spring Groves, the shadow is from Vogue Abode and the tiny ‘hello’ sentiment is from Word Salad.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I will catch up with you next week. In the meantime, I have a birthday party to prepare for! 🙂

  1. LOVE the first – fabulous sentiment, first of all, lol, and I heart those little lips! Super sweet scene on the Ipad adventure screen – once again you knock my socks off. I should just plan to go barefoot!

  2. I admired your first card earlier this week on the PS blog — the glossy lips are excellent! And I love the sweet scene on the second one. Terrific!
Good luck with the festivities. 🙂

  3. the first card is so cute with the lips and the second one is just so sweet! Love the scene in a scene and the highlight on the ipad 🙂

  4. These are lovely! Love the colors behind the letters, looks great, like one of the posters you can frame! And your iPad card is fun! Love the birds on the screen, which app is that? 😀
