Here’s another card for the Hero Arts April Contest, this time a shaped one! I used my new Roma stamp again with the butterfly from Bold Pop Designs and a sentiment from Good Friends. I sponged around the map and I used the rock ‘n’ roll technique on the butterfly. Then I used a brush to paint Lavender Stickles on the darker areas. To finish, I stamped the sentiment and added three pearls which were coloured with Copic markers. I didn’t have the exact shade of purple needed so I coloured and recoloured with three different purples.

I hope you all have a fabulous start to your week! See you tomorrow. 🙂

  1. Oh, how I love that sentiment! And the butterfly turned out gorgeous 🙂 I find purple a really hard colour to match in general. I think that's why I don't use it often!

  2. Such a sweet circle card, Emily! Your butterfly is so pretty, and I love how you paired it with that vintage map background. It's a beauty!

(Sorry I haven't been able to stop by much recently–real life has been calling, rather LOUDLY, I might add! It was a treat to be able to stop by to see your creations again.)
