Today, the following members of the Avocado Arts Pit Crew are inspiring you with more projects made with the March stamp set, Springtime Celebrations:

I made a nice colourful bouquet of flowers to celebrate spring! Two flowers, the stem with leaves and the sentiment are from this month’s stamp set, Springtime Celebrations. The smallest flower is from the February set Wishes and Kind Thoughts, and the bouquet ‘wrap’ and sprigs are from Bring on the Holiday Cheer! The cone was originally intended to be a Christmas tree but I love how it could be just about anything. I used the mistletoe as filler for the bouquet. The heart flower is fun to colour and offers so many possibilities. I love that the sentiment is generic so that this card could be given to a friend for her birthday, a mother who just gave birth and even as a graduation card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you’re all having a wonderful week. 🙂

  1. Yesterday ribbon, today flowers… every day a new surprise! 😉 This is gorgeous! I love how the flowers pop off the kraft base with the subtle greenery in the background. You're right, this is a great stash card that could be used for many different occasions!

  2. Wow, what a bouquet! I love that the cone is a tree — you're just so smart that way! The burlap string is the perfect final touch, too.

  3. Awww…that is such a cheerful card! The flowers are so gorgeous. I really like the navy (I always seem to stick to black)–it looks great against the kraft. That's funny that you used the tree for the holder…you're so creative!
