My card features the teacher, pile of books and one of the sentiments from Smarty Pants. This set is mega cute and it has the word ‘smart’ in it so that tells you how versatile it is! This guy makes me laugh. I love his face, don’t you? He looks like a mad scientist to me. Imagine how fun it would be to swap out the stick for something else!

I bent his leg so that his shoe would lie flat on the stack of books. I also used one of the circles from Whirligigs to pattern his tie. Don’t forget to leave a comment on the Paper Smooches Blog for a chance to win Whirligigs, another one of the CHA releases that will be available for purchase on March 1st. I hope you are prepared to spend on that day! LOL

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Remember to check back here on Saturday to see if you are the lucky winner of Smarty Pants!

  1. He is very cute! I can see him with a beaker in his hand. Or he could be (a stretch here, but funny) holding a wand (just put a star on top) and he could be your fairy godFATHER!

  2. Oh Emily!! WHAT are you trying to do to me?! I am totally smiling right now because this guy is sooo ridiculously cute! Love your card and how he's leaning in like that!
You're gonna hafta hold me back on Mar 1!!

  3. Gosh! You patterned his tie! That's just perfect! I thought it was meant to be this way, but of course, it wasn't on the original stamp, 'cause you stamped in black, but I didn't realize this until you told me this, so this is just perfect! Love the way he's balancing on the books!! Perfect!! Yep, a very nice professor here!!!
    Hugs, Wendy

  4. Hi Emily. I love, love this card. It put a huge grin on my face. My daughter had surgery and is staying with me while recuperating so my commenting will be spotty for a few weeks. Hope you have a great weekend.

  5. Super cute card, Emily! That teacher is adorable! Terrific colouring and fun design to have him perched on the books and peeking in from the side!

  6. He's a fantastic little professor but with your creative genius, I'm sure you can turn him in to an awesome mad scientist or the Colonel from Kentucky Fried Chicken or a whole slew of other great things. Your card is amazing.

  7. Beautifully coloured! Oh and all the lines that could go with this little fellow… great card and fun stamps 🙂

  8. Em, this is so freakin' cute!!! Love how he's popping in from the edge of the card. Awesome! And I know you are going to come up with some crazy cool mad scientist card – can't wait to see it!
