Welcome to {Day 3} of the Lil’ Inker Designs January Release Blog Hop! If you’ve arrived from Teresa Kline‘s blog, you are on the right track. If not, you will want to start at Laura‘s blog so you don’t miss a thing. I hope you’ve enjoyed what the design team has shared so far this week. The first two days of the hop showcased the new Flags & Tags dies and stamp set. Today, the entire design team has created projects using one of two 2 Cute Ink releases: Sweet Bee and Cutie Cat. I’ve made a card using Sweet Bee, a set that is perfect for Valentine’s Day and any lovey-dovey occasion that comes your way!

To make my card, I cut strips of increasing widths of natural ivory and white cardstock. Then I staggered the heights, trimmed off the bottom edge and adhered it to textured black cardstock. I die cut the Curly Label Tag from pink cardstock and the grass using the Fringe Flower die and glitter green cardstock. Both pieces were trimmed and adhered to the card after the bee and sentiment were stamped. I rounded some of the corners and adhered the front panel to the card with foam tape. The Licorice baker’s twine is from Paper Smooches.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Don’t forget to comment on all the designers’ blogs each day this week to increase your chances of winning a $10 gift certificate or the two new stamp sets from 2 Cute Ink. I will see you here again tomorrow for {Day 4} of the Lil’ Inker Designs January Release Blog Hop. I’m now sending you over to shop at the Lil’ Inker Store. 😉

  1. What a fun way to stamp this image! I love all the way you used the elements too! The frame peaking out from the bottom is a super cute look! And the sparkly green fringe you added is a nice detail too!

  2. Hee hee. I love this bee-cuzz he is adorable! (yuck, yuck–so bad). The staggering is great and different. The pink die cut is one of my favorite edge shapes…I may have to get the dies just for that alone!
