I’m playing with some new things I got before Christmas and didn’t have a chance to play with ’til now. I was so excited when Unity included a ‘Happy New Year’ sentiment in the November 2011 KOM because they are rare (there’s one other in Greetings of Christmas) and they are also perfect for Chinese New Year celebrations (Year of the Dragon begins on January 23, 2012). This particular sentiment is from Take Your Time and I used the must-have skyline border die from My Favorite Things. Imagine all the fun you could have with those tiny windows! I left them all unpunched this time to make it easy on myself. I made a half-dozen of these just in case. 😉

Fabulous!!!
this is adorable. Love this city scene…
I'm in the same situation… need to send some New Year's ones out for some unexpected arrivals. I always use martini glasses but this is a nice alternative for friends who don't drink. Brilliant card… thanks for the inspiration. Love that die.
Wonderful card Emily. Love the colors. This is a perfect sentiment…I have to put Unity Stamps in my wish list too:)
Simply lovely card!! love this scene! 🙂
So perfect Emily! Love the embossed skyline and the touch of bling.
It's very pretty! Love the colors you used! And, yep, perfect for unexpected cards! I made some Happy New Years-cards as well, hi hi! All the best!
Hugs, Wendy
I've made some new year's cards for the first time this year, since I knew I wouldn't have all my Christmas cards out in time 🙂 It's like the holidays show up by surprise or something! lol
I love the gemstone accent, and how awesome is this die??
Ok, now I need that punch. Not an option. Love the colors you used, too!
Totally cool card, Emily! I love that great skyline. 🙂
I love this color combo and that you left the windows in! :> I agree on the happy new year sentiment, I have one too and am happy about it! Great card!
Great card, love how graphic it is. Congrats on joining the Avocado Arts design team. Looking forward to seeing your creations with their stamps.
That skyline die is totally fun, and the one blinged building is a perfect touch.
Lovely my dear Em! That skyline die was made for you! 🙂
LOOOOOVE that gem at the top of the building! SUPER fabulous card—HAPPY NEW YEAR, Emily!!!
I came so stinkin' close to getting that die the other day, but I showed admirable restraint. Now I'm kicking myself. Oh well, at least I can admire yours!! Love the color combo, too.
