I am honoured to be one of two guest designers for Hambo Stamps this October! I was thrilled when Monica Hunter and Libby Hickson asked me to make a card for Hambo Stamps this month. Hambo Stamps carries the cutest and funniest stamps and they are of the highest quality. Given what some of you know about me, you won’t be surprised to see that I chose the new Otter stamp and one of its coordinating sentiments. He is so cute and the sentiment cracks me up.

That would be a smart otter with the math background and notebook floor boards! 😉 This combination is sure to give its recipient a smile, right? In fact, there are two other hilarious sentiments you can purchase with this otter. I paper pieced him with Basic Grey’s Oxford Collection and embellished with Charcoal twine for a simple and easy card suitable for any occasion.

Since Hambo Stamps is a proud sponsor of SplitcoaststampersHope You Can Cling To Challenges this month, I thought I’d use this same stamp and sentiment to make a second card for the HYCCT1121: Big or Small Challenge, to use two sizes of the same shape which, on my card, are the Reverse Wonky Rectangles. I masked off the fish this time and used Blossom twine to make a Hope ribbon for the otter to wear. Both of the otter’s arms are well-positioned so you could make him hold a variety of things. Imagine all the possibilities!

If you’re interested in purchasing these cute stamps, it happens to be HOGtoberfest over at Hambo Stamps! All regular-priced stamps are 30% off until 11:59 p.m. EST Wednesday, October 26th. There’s no better time to stock up on cute stamps and punny sentiments! CLICK HERE to shop. 🙂
