I’m back with a Guest Designer card for the All Things Unity Challenge #42! A new challenge begins today and we have a BINGO card to inspire you. You can choose a column, row or diagonal and incorporate all the elements to come up with a unique card or you can even use the general BINGO theme. It’s completely open to your creative interpretation.

For my inspiration, I chose the leftmost column including misting, twine, buttons and nesties. My card uses the flowers with button centres from Unity’s July 2011 Kit of the Month, Better Together. I haven’t used much of this Kit so it felt great to ink it up. I stamped the flowers three times each and cut them out at different lines to layer them. I threaded The Twinery‘s baker’s twine through the centres and assembled the flowers. I used a Blopen to do the misting, adhered the flowers to the card and stamped the sentiment which is from the same Kit. I didn’t have purple ink that matched the Blopen so I doubled-stamped using two different purples to get an exact match.

I certainly hope you will be inspired to play along with the ATU #42. I’d love to see what you make using Unity and Ippity stamps. Click HERE for all the details on how to play and win!

  1. I've often wondered how to create a particular colour ink – double stamping huh? Must try it! Love the layered flowers and hurrah for the blopen!

  2. I think you certainly hit the jackpot with this card! The wonky rectangles look great with those fresh flowers, and I love your old school blowpen misting!

  3. This is so cute, Emily! At first glance I thought this was a pillow box. That card shape confused me initially, but now that I know what it is, I love it!! Those flowers are so adorable. 🙂

  4. BINGO—you win!! This is GORGEOUS! LOVE LOVE LOVE how you stitched the centers of your flowers;) I love the misting and your entire card! You have rocked these ATU challenges–LOVE that you joined this team for October:) LOVE LOVE LOVE you!!

  6. What a cool challenge to begin with — and your card is super-cool! I love your old-skool misting (add blopens to your old-but-still-works list, eh?), and the colors make me happy too. Nice package!

  7. …and I want (need, whatever) these Nesties too! Awesome combining inks to get the match – it looks perfect! – and I love the differently stitched centres to your blooms.

  8. Hi Emily! I took a blogging break, so I'm woefully behind in my visits…but YOU have been fabulously creative this past week! I love your layered flowers 🙂
