Blogland friends really are the best! It’s one thing to send me something but when my bloggy friends sent cards and gifts specifically for my son, that’s above and beyond. Way to put a smile on both our faces. I love you guys!!

This first card is from Lexy who’s been sending us cards for years and years. She always manages to find something I haven’t discovered yet, like these ultra cute robots! The little guy immediately zoomed in on the sparkly dots, touched them and said, “What those bumpy things?” and “Mommy, you have robot stamps like that?”

This second card is from Lindsey who knew that a Cars card would be a hit and the initial reaction was, “Why Lindsey make this card for me? Where she get that Lightning McQueen from?” The really funny part? Lindsey and Lexy used the exact same sentiment on the inside of the card. I must find out where it came from!

This third card is from Meg who made this train card for Amber Ink’s 1st Anniversary Blog Hop and recalled that a certain someone really likes trains. There’s a crazy story that goes with this card. It was beaten up by the postal system. Gee, is that a surprise? Not. When I took it out of the envelope, the top ‘w’ from ‘woot’ was on top of the ‘r’ in ‘train’. My husband laughed and said, “Oot! Woot! The party twain is pulling into the station!” Okay, we both laughed. Then the kid said, “Why that train not have wheel?” Apparently, the ring for the big back wheel on the engine was missing. It’s amazing the things my son notices! A little while later, it wasn’t ’til my son picked up the little ring off the rug and asked my husband what it was that we realized it belonged to the train. Then I clued in on the fact that the ‘w’ had taken a little walk across the card. Now that I’ve linked to Meg’s original post, I noticed that there’s still a coupling missing! LOL

Lastly, this sweet little booklet arrived from Cindy today. My son adores books and you can imagine the smile he had on this face as we flipped through it reading the alphabets and looking at the pictures. It is CUTE! I love the way Cindy tied the monkey ribbon to the rings.

Sorry my card started to come off the rails*, but I'm glad you were able to piece most of it back together!
