I’m just popping in on this beautiful Sunday afternoon to share a quick and easy one-layer card using Hero Arts stamps. I used all of the Shoes as well as a sentiment from Sending Smiles Message. In my mind, I was going to colour all the shoes after I stamped them but they looked so good in black and white that I was literally afraid to ruin them by adding colour. This isn’t to say that they wouldn’t have look great in bright, summery colours but I really liked this clean and simple look so I left it. I’m entering into the Hero Arts July Contest for the Summertime theme. Have you played along yet? I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend!

  1. Thos shoes DO look amazing in black & white. I can tell you, I would have felt the exact same way, BUT I have seen your colouring skills so I know either way this card would be awesome!

  3. I have to agree, they look great left as line drawings. Love how you've positioned them off the edge of the card too 🙂

  6. I'm so loving these flip-flops! Gotta find some. Stampy ones, that is. The real ones…icky, stuff between my toes? Gross.
And now I wanna make some things in b&w. Wonder if I'll get to my desk today?
