I’m so excited and honoured that Kim is featuring one of my cards on the Paper Smooches Blog today! You can find the original post for that card HERE.

Today’s card is one I had made for the latest Paper Crafts publication call. I had altered it slightly since it had already been rejected once before. I won’t be submitting again because a neighbour decided he wanted to buy it for his girlfriend whose birthday is tomorrow. Sweet!

The directions for this card are pretty straight forward. All stamps are from Falling For You. I paper pieced the apple with papers from Echo Park’s Little Boy Collection. The heart was stamped on white cardstock with red ink, fussy cut and adhered to the apple. I mixed two sentiments to create the one shown on the card. My first version used the original sentiment ‘love you to my core’ that comes with the set.

We’ve been averaging one showing a day on the condo which is not too bad. We were so used to the crazy housing market that we endured for more than two years where there were about 80-100 showings a day on each house so this is very slow for us. As long as people keep wanting to see our place, we’re happy with that. Thank you so much for all your good wishes! 🙂
