I’ve always wanted some Lawn Fawn stamps so you can imagine my delight when I won a set from Donna a couple of months ago! I inked them up for the first time here to enter my first Lawnscaping Challenge. So many of you have entered these challenges and I’ve admired from afar but now I get to play along, too! The Lawnscaping Challenge #11 is Clean and Simple which is right up my alley. I coloured in three of the lanterns and popped them on with foam tape. Then I added some twine knot embellishments. I love easy cards like this!

This blog certainly wasn’t quiet this week, was it? Well, now that there’s another publication call out, I think I will go into a ‘sublication hibernation’. Try saying that a few times really fast. Regardless, I will definitely be back on Saturday for a big announcement. Enjoy the rest of your week!

  1. You are a tease….can't wait to hear what your announcement is! I love the way you positioned the lantern and sentiment on your card.

  2. Gorgeous CASness! Welcome to Lawn Fawn ownership! Love the curvy sentiment and your little knots. And I'm very curious about Saturday… 🙂

  3. This card pretty simply just rocks. The placement of everything, the craftsmanship, the choices in stamps… everything just works magically together. And thank you so much for sharing that knot technique. It looks so cool! I can't wait to try it out and will of course link back to you when I post something with it. 🙂 Thanks for playing along with us this week at Lawnscaping!

  4. These are the cards of yours that I like the best. This one is fabulous – you always have some innovative idea like the knotted twine bulbs here. Enjoy your sublication hibernation (reminds me of 101 Dalmations – you know, dalmation plantation!) and I'll look forward to hearing your announcement! Vx

  5. I love the layout – I can just see the lanterns gently swaying in the breeze 🙂 Awesome.

I can't say I look forward to your quiet time on the blog, but I'm glad for you! (And deathly curious to know what the announcement is…so not patient that way. C'mon, Saturday!!)

  6. Hi Emily!

It's fun! Love the clean and simple look, you always know so very well how to use that, in a way the card looks perfect!!! I always especially love your Unity cards, as you probably know, hi hi! But love what you show with Pti and all the other lovely brands as well! Too bad there's still a postal strike with you, that's quite long now, isn't it? Well, it's a lovely idea that a card from you will be on it's way to me one day and it'll just be a surprise when!! I love surprises!!!
    All the best to you!
    Hugs, Wendy
