Welcome to Friends With Flair! Be sure to start at the Unity Blog for a full list of participants because you won’t want to miss any of the beautiful projects. Find the blinkie and leave a comment on that blog for your chance to win 25 random Unity stamps! Oh, and have you been to the Unity Store lately? I know, your wish list is a mile long and you have no idea how you’re going to afford all that you want. That’s exactly how I feel and it’s not just the itty bitties I want need!

So without further delay, I present you with a card I made using the itty bitty Enjoy Life and the January Kit of the Month – To the Moon & Back. I love this itty bitty because it’s a versatile frame I can put practically anything in! How much do you love the shoes? When I made THIS card, I mentioned that I had a lot of ideas for those shoes. Well, here’s one of them! I created a mask and made a pair of shoes! That’s right, a pair!!! I couldn’t resist adding Stickles to the buckles and bows. I cut them out and walked them around the table wishing for a paper Barbie. LOL I used this particular punch for the sides of the card because the holes echoed the dots on the itty bitty. Then I stamped the texty-floral border along it. I love that border and have a feeling it’s going to be a favourite!

Yesterday, I announced a giveaway consisting of three spools of American Crafts Valentine ribbon. I used Random.org at 10:00pm EST and it picked comment #32 which is Wendy ten Hove! Congratulations, Wendy!! Please email me at artsy_em at hotmail dot com with your mailing address and I’ll pop these in the mail to you. If I don’t hear from you by January 16th at 11:59pm, I will choose another winner.

Your next stop along this blog hop is

  1. Hi Emily!

Yihoe! I won! You have made me very happy on this grey and rainy day here in the Netherlands! I just sent you an email with my addy!
Love the way you used this stylish shoe here! The edges of the card are really lovely this way!

    Hugs, Wendy

  2. Dude, who wouldn't enjoy life in those shoes? Very smart of you to turn one shoe into two. Maybe the folks at Unity can work on a stampable barbie to go with them 🙂

  3. I cannot believe that we both were thinking of these shoes! I just made a card last night with them–and I swear–YOURS are much better! How do you do it??? I love it! Now I don't want to share mine! Although–the pair of shoes is SUPER cute! YOU ROCK!
