After last week’s cute Pink Cat Studio Valentine digi release, I promised there would be another. So what do you think?! I love all of Melissa’s dinosaurs. They crack me up and are too cute for words. When my son first saw Bronty cutting hearts, he smiled and said, “Rawr cut heart!” But when he saw Rex eating the Valentines, he burst into tears and sobbed, “Rawr no eat heart!” In his little toddler mind, he thought Rex was eating the hearts Bronty cut out and didn’t like that at all. I felt so bad! Melissa had a cute explanation for the misunderstanding. Rex wanted to make Valentines, too, but didn’t have scissors so he used his teeth! LOL

Since I used patterned paper for the Pink Cat Studio rubber release yesterday, I decided to use some blue oldbook washi tape (also featured in my next post) today because it needs to be used to be admired, right? LOL First, I coloured in Bronty with my Copics and cut him out. Then I laid down the washi tape and punched out some hearts using Wintertime papers. I stamped the sentiment from Lily & Billy Sweethearts (also available from Lily Valentine Ballerina) and stitched all the hearts in place. I popped Bronty on to the card base with dimensionals and lifted the sides of the two smaller hearts. At first glance, it looks like Bronty is giving the peace sign. Love… peace. Total cuteness!

Pink Cat Studio is taking a week off so we’ll be back with another digi release in two weeks! In the meantime, I’d love to see what you’re making with PCS digis. Drop me a link and I’ll be sure to pop by!

  1. Rawr! Seriously, your little man says the cutest things 🙂 And you make the cutest cards — I love little bronty and his valentine-cutting skillz!
    (And more tape — yay!)

  2. Cuteness!!!!! I love those dinos, too!

Your son is just adorable! I'm glad Melissa had a good reason why he was munching on some hearts!
