I headed off the beaten path to make some gift-giving accessories using beautiful Amber Ink iPapers! I thought it would be fun to make something other than a card and surprise you all. LOL Ever since I made this bag I’ve wanted to try another template, but I’m not ready to make anything too complicated so I used this simple tutorial to make a paper bow.

Since my papers were printed on one side only, I adhered two olive patterns back-to-back after cutting the strips. It would’ve been a lot easier had I glued the papers together before cutting the strips so I’ll remember that for next time. I photographed the bow and tag with a martini glass to show how fun it would be to present a holiday party hostess with a set of glasses (or vodka or other martini mix) with this pretty bow and twine the tag around a bottle of gourmet olives! Mmm… yes, I’m ready for that martini now. 😉

  1. Oh are you kidding me? I was just cruisin' and I SLAMMED on the brakes! I know a certain person named Amber who is gonna flip her gourd when she sees this! Gosh…you never stop suprising us!

  2. OMG, that is the best bow ever! I need to make one, or ten. 😛 It won't be tonight, but I can't wait to try this! Thanks for sharing your non-card brilliance!

  3. Get out!!! Looks like traditional paper to me! You amazes me everytime! I don't know how the curled papers don't look warped at all when you attached the two papers together. You rock!!!! And how clever is this! Olive tag in the martini glass. Unbelievable!
