Happy Friday and welcome to the FWF blog hop! I’ve been loving my Unity stamps so much and Stephanie encouraged me to participate so here I am! As you can see, clouds don’t have silver linings. They have red sparkly ones. 😉 And the truly special ones have holiday ornaments hanging from them!

I created a red cloud background on kraft and picked the top striped cloud as the perfect spot to hang the ornaments. I stamped that cloud a second time and cut it out. Then I stamped a burlap background before stamping the ornaments on to it, cut them out and attached them to the cloud with twine. Silly me put the ornaments in the wrong order. They were in the right order at first and then I peeled off the twine and switched them! Oh well. I coloured in some plain rhinestones with a Copic marker and attached them to the tops of the ornaments. The perfect sentiment came from an itty bitty called Oh Joy which I received as a gift after this baby card was featured on Unity’s Facebook page. What a great little gift!

Be sure to check the Unity Blog for a full list of blog hop participants. Look for the blog that has a special blinkie, then leave a comment on that blog for a chance to win 25 random Unity stamps! Have a fabulous day!

  1. Fabulous card! I never would have thought to use clouds for Christmas, but it's so perfect! Love the ornaments in the order you used them, too. Hooray for FWF!

  2. There's a _correct_ order for the ornaments? I would so fail that part of the test. This is such a great out-of-the-box holiday card! Love that you used red and blue rather than the obvious red and green. And kraft, of course… 😉
