It’s Pink Cat Thursday again and cuteness is expected! Aren’t these little guys adorable? Melissa definitely had mojo flowing when she dreamt up these little dinosaurs! As you know, my son was a dinosaur for Halloween and he loves dinosaurs in general, perhaps not as much as cars, trains and other construction vehicles but he can’t say no to dinosaurs. He even has tons of dinosaur jammies, tops, socks and mittens!

These digis couldn’t have come at a better time. I had to make birthday cards for two little boys who are turning three and four years old so I used Rex eating cake and Rex & Bronty partying together. I made them with the same background, papers and layout.

I customized each one by stamping the recipient’s name as the background, then gave it a birthday seal of approval with some dinosaur postage. 😉 Then I cut out strips of designer cardstock in different widths and adhered those randomly to the base. After I coloured and cut the images, I attached them to the cards with dimensionals. RAWR! So totally cute.

I loved looking at these cards side-by-side and it’s too bad that one is going to Montreal and the other to Indianapolis! Wouldn’t it be so much fun to make a set of these for twins? Plus, these digis aren’t just for boys because I know some girls who are totally into dinosaurs, too. 😉

Thanks again for stopping by to share this super duper cute release with me! As always, further inspiration can be found on the Pink Cat Studio design team blogs whose links are on my side bar. Have a wonderful day!

  1. ME!! ME!! I love dinos!!!

And these are just the cutest! I of course love your outline alphabet background, plus look at you using patterned paper! Both of those guys are just adorably colored! Great cards!

  2. LOVE these two cards! The repeated name backgrounds are brilliant. These dinos are incredibly cute, especially when you get your hands on them! 😛

  3. Oh I love how you've used Bronty and Rex on your adorable cards, Emily! Aren't these little guys the cutest? I really like the personalised element of stamping the names on the background – such a fab idea x
