Halloween night has come to an end, our son is in bed and we’re having some wine before turning in for the night. We’re exhausted! The little guy was so excited after dinner but once we left the house he became entirely bashful and didn’t want to do any of it. It didn’t help that someone brought along their dog without a leash and it kept jumping up against our son. He was scared after that. After we convinced him that he couldn’t get any chips or gummies (his favourite treats) without visiting the other houses, he decided to participate. My husband and I ended up carrying the little dinosaur more than half the time! “Trick or treat!” soon turned into “Next house!” LOL
Here’s a little card (4.25″ squared) that took only 30 minutes to whip up. It features Pink Cat Studio’s Itty Bitty Bobby in a dinosaur costume which was perfect for my son! The sentiment is from the large rubber set Itty Bitty Halloween. I love the way Emily Niehaus draws her whimsical borders and I thought I would try it here with one of my new Copic liners. I also added crystal effects to the dinosaur eyes and teeth.
I don’t normally share personal photos on my blog but I thought this photo would be fun to share. It was a cold, cold night. Even though we were all bundled up, our hands and feet were pretty cold at the end of the night. It was fun though! We laughed whenever the big tail bounced down all the steps we encountered, which was a lot. I hope I’ll see this little dinosaur running around the house for a while the same way he did last year with his panda costume. Well, it’s time for me to inspect the loot so it’s safe for eating in the morning! Good night, everyone.
