Anyway, we got back from brunch with my sister and put the kiddo down for his nap. I had a bit of time to craft and decided to break out one of my new sets, Friendship Jar Fillers. This was my first time colouring on kraft. I thought I’d try out my Copics on GinaK’s kraft and it colours beautifully but the fibres make it much more absorbent than the white so it bleeds through to the back whereas the white does not. Since Friendship Jar was out of stock, I decided to get the Fillers since I was going to get them anyway. I already had this idea for the flowers in my head so I figured I could still use the images without the jar. I cut a small piece of cross-stitch fabric, frayed the edges, punched two little holes in the cardstock on either side of the stems, threaded hemp cord through, and wrapped it around the fabric. This card makes me want to hand a bunch of flowers to someone right now!
As I was finishing this post, my husband came home with Pit’r after her chemo treatment and showed me her super duper cute fish bandaid. I just had to take a photo of it. Awww. Heehee. Have a great day, friends!

Oh… beautiful card!
That card is so cute — love the fabric-twine thing. That set rocks even without the jar!
Oh, Pit'r. What a cute little bandage. She's so sweet! Still has her whiskers, too — good.
What a stunning card, Em! Poor little kitty! That is so super cute that they have fish bandages for the cats! Love it! Hope she is feeling better.
Another absolutely stunning card Emily, don't worry too much about the photos they are fine from here:) Perhaps you'll be able to get the display screen fixed, may be it's not too expensive, poor little Pit'r, I hope she feels better! Enjoy the weekend:D xxx
Such a wonderfully charming card! The wrap is such a clever idea. Glad you can work this set without the jar.
What a nice vet to have a fish bandage to make Pit'r feel better. I hope she got a lollipop after her shots, too. 🙂
Great card Emily…love the cross stitch wrapping!!! Love that bandaid too…that would be a very cute idea for a stamp!!!
awww…. hope Pit'r is doing well… she is a cutie. =) very pretty simple card as always! have a wonderful weekend!
Who needs a jar… this card is perfect without it, and much more creative!
Pit'r is very stoic… I don't think our cat would want to be held like that if we put her through anything like chemo! 😛
What a lovely technique! Just a fabulous card.
