The Road to a Friend’s House…

In case you haven’t heard, I won a CAS Guest Designer spot on Splitcoaststampers! Sometime this summer, you’ll see me as a Guest Designer for one of the CAS Challenges. I’m over the moon excited and still doing the happy dance since I found out early yesterday!!

Today’s card is for this week’s CAS70 Challenge to create a card that features a quote, verse or saying. I dug through some of my neglected single wood block stamps and found a favourite quote and the perfect little image to pair it up with. Originally I wasn’t going to add any embellishments but figured I should actually use some of the ribbon I’ve been hoarding as well as get out of my comfort zone a bit and use staples! I think it turned out okay. What do you think? 😉
