Today’s card features the Spellbinders March 2021 Clear Stamp of the Month and it’s a beauty. I’ve also snuck in some die cut accents using the Large Die of the Month. These two club kits work so well together this month and they often do so it’s not surprising that there are two value memberships — Die Hard and Die & Stamp Addict.
I started by stamping the three bunnies from the Clear Stamp of the Month and colouring them with Copic markers. You can find all the colours listed in the supply links below. I trimmed them out and set them aside while I created the background.
I used four dies from the Large Die of the Month to create the scene, including two cloud dies, the scripted spring word and the grass border. To create the grass panel, I ink blended with Peeled Paint and Forest Moss distress inks. Then I used splatted shimmer spritz and spray stains in Twisted Citron, Walnut Stain and Hickory Smoke by tapping on the nozzles of the bottles over the ink blended panel.
I die cut the clouds from Sugar Crystal glitter cardstock and the word spring from Cupcake cardstock, which coordinates with the Cupcake card base. Before adhering the watercolour panel to the Poppy Seed mat, I ink blended the top with Tumbled Glass and Broken China distress inks.
Then I masked off the sentiment and stamped it without the word spring so I could add the die cut to complete it. All the die cut pieces were double-layered and the bunnies were adhered with Scor-tape and mini glue dots for a bit of dimension.
