As I mentioned in THIS post from last week, I’m absolutely in love with the Bayfair Card Maker’s Kit, part of the Bayfair by Rosie’s Studios Collection. However, today’s post is really about the newly-released Sealed 3D Botanical Collection from Spellbinders. I chose to work with the Fresh Picked Labels and Tag Dies because I love this unique shape. Please visit THIS post from two days ago showing a unique way to use these labels.
Going back to the Bayfair by Rosie’s Studios Collection, I’m completely obsessed with these patterned papers from the Bayfair 6×6″ Designer Paper Pad and I selected a luxurious floral pattern for the card base, which I cut using the largest of the Precision Layering A2 A Dies.
Next, I used the Fresh Picked Labels and Tag Dies to cut the Dahlia-coloured paint swatch pattern, two layers of vellum, and a frame from Portobello cardstock. After adhering all the layers together with liquid glue and a tape runner, I die cut all of the floral pieces from the Floral Spray Dies.
These flowers and those stunning leaves have quickly become my favourite go-to floral set! I layered the big flowers with Pink Sand, vellum and Dahlia cardstock. The centres were cut from Indigo and Beeswax cardstock. The smaller flowers were cut from Snowdrift and Beeswax cardstock. The leaves and stems were cut from Fern cardstock. You can find all of these colours and more in the Bayfair 12×12″ Cardstock Pack.
After arranging all of the elements, I used a combination of liquid glue, glue dots and foam squares to adhere all the pieces to the patterned paper panels for various levels of dimension. To finish, I added a sentiment from the Bayfair Chipboard Embellishments.
