Today I’m sharing another project featuring Technique Tuesday‘s January 2019 Release. This one features the Paper Airplane on the Border Die. Isn’t it fun? I think it will mainly be used for love-themed and Valentine’s cards but I wanted to use it with Adventure Awaits to make an encouragement card.
The paper airplane works well with the travel-themed stamps from Adventure Awaits. I used the border die portion to cut the top half of the front of the card so only the bottom half opens to reveal the inside of the card.
After stamping the compass and sentiment, I created a mask for the star before sponging the inside of the card using four distress inks, listed below. Then I die cut the other half of the Paper Airplane on the Border Die from green-blue and silver glitter cardstock and adhered the pieces to the card base using liquid glue.
