Hello and welcome to the Studio Katia September 2018 Release Blog Hop! You should have arrived from Ilda Dias‘ blog and your next stop is Kalyn Kepner‘s blog. Kalyn and I are super excited to be participating in this release hop as part of our Two Many Cards Video Series.

I’m showcasing Holiday Village, Dotted Shaker Tag 3 and Trimmings Borders, as well as Silver Polka Fusion Sequins and Classic Christmas Confetti Sequins.

All three of my projects feature images and sentiments from Holiday Village. The shaker tags were created with Dotted Shaker Tag 3 and I used Trimmings Borders for the hills on the first tag and card.

The two tags feature the 3mm Crystal Clear Sequins and brand new Silver Polka Fusion Sequins. The card features the brand new Classic Christmas Confetti Sequins with Gold Crystal Sequins, both of which were adhered using the fabulous new glue.

The frame for the card was made using dies from Dotted Patterns Set 1. All of the sponging and watercolouring was done with distress inks and colours are linked below.

  1. I loved the tags. Such a wonderful way to make some cute tags and highlight the cute stampset and the sequins. I really need to try this. Thank you for the inspiration.

  2. Those are darling, Emily! And they can become Christmas tree ornaments as keepsakes!
(I have a daughter Emily and love the name! It's my middle name!)

  3. I've never seen such wonderfully sized buildings that can be used for both tags and cards. Your creations are gorgeous, and I appreciate the video.

  4. Your card and tags are so cute! I'm going to put the Holiday Village set on my birthday wish list. It offers so many scene building options with all of the little houses.

  5. Emily, you've created the most lovely, inviting scenes with your card and shaker tags! Beautiful and inspiring showcases of these new products…they're going straight on to my shopping list!

  6. I love the Holiday Village set, those little houses are darling and your card and shaker tags are adorable (love the non-traditional colors too). I am so glad you and Kalyn are a part of this HOP, you both have a new follower and I'm looking forward to watching more Two Many Cards Video Series videos and following your blogs. Thanks for the inspiration today!

  7. The Holiday Wishes tag is my favorite. Looks just like a miniature village scene sitting in front of a window, with glistening snow (shaker elements) in the background! Thank you!

  8. Absolutely love your bio and your shaker tags! These are fantastic and I am glad you showed them made with this die. I was looking at the die and could not figure it out in my head; sometimes don't we all need a visual aide? Thanks for doing so and showing me the start of the possibilities to use. Your Christmas village is great and I love the soft blues that you used on this. Such a great idea and it makes the scene pop wit the greens that you have in the village. Fantastic!!!!

  9. I love what you did with this village stamp set. You got so much dimension with just those few hills, the colors are unexpected, and the shaker cards are super fun. Thanks for sharing these great projects with us!
