{Winnie & Walter Video} Everyday Winter Cards

Hi, everyone! Today, I have the pleasure of guesting on the Winnie & Walter blog to celebrate their 3rd Birthday! I made a set of four cards using six different stamp and die sets. I used holiday penguins to make everyday winter cards for love and encouragement.

I love the darling penguins and snowman from the holiday set Season’s Tweetings so I wanted to feature them. I turned them into everyday winter critters by pairing them with sentiments from Sentimental: Love and Sentimental: Endearments. The clean and scripted combination of these fonts makes them a must-have.

 

I lightly colour-washed the frames to use them as background anchors for the critters and also as a base for stamping the sentiments. To create the textured background panels, I used uncut Cary Letters Cutaways to dry emboss white linen cardstock.

For final embellishments, I added some sparkling clear sequins to all of the cards using tweezers and multi-medium gloss.
