It’s Day 4 of Neat & Tangled‘s July Release and, today, the design team is featuring the Geometric Bloom, Pentagon and Parquet Stencils! As I’m sure you already know, there are endless ways to use stencils, from ink to doodles, and watercolours to embossing paste.
I made a set of three shaker cards using different coloured inks to stencil around the opening of the window, which was die cut with the A Lot To Say Die.
I used two shades of blue, red and grey so they faded towards the outer edges of the card. I also used the inks to double-stamp the sentiment from Hello You so there’s a coloured shadow, which you can see in the above close-up.
The cute kids hanging on the edge of the card, complementing the sentiment, are from a previously released set called Say Yes To Donuts. They’re so perfect for popping into any card!
There’s a GIVEAWAY! Be sure to leave a comment for each feature day on the Neat & Tangled Blog for your chance to win the stamp sets! There will ALSO be a $25 gift certificate drawn from all comments left on the design team blogs so be sure to leave one here, too! 🙂
All release products will be available for purchase on Friday and I’ll be updating my links at that time. See you again tomorrow!
