I love making shaker cards and I recently acquired the Fuse Tool so I wanted to use it to make a flat, mailable card with a sequin packet. This was the perfect opportunity to test it out. I combined images and sentiments from the Happy Holidays and Crafting is My Jam sets.
I cut a window through the black panel, as well as the kraft card base. I wanted the recipient to be able to see right through the front of the card. After creating an appropriate sized packet with the Fuse Tool, I filled it with sequins, sealed it and secured it in between the two panels.
I die cut ‘holidays’, layering gold over black and adhered the complementary strips around it. To finish, I die cut and coloured a bunch of craft tools from Crafting is My Jam and popped them on to the panel with foam tape.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Super cute!!! LOVE the shaker!
This is a very fun card! I like that the card doesn't have to be as bulky as the traditional shaker method.
THanks, Emily! I'm asking Santa for a Fuse tool – I like that it is small and portable. Maybe after the holidays would you consider doing a video to walk us through these steps? I'm having difficulty imagining how this all came together. Thanks for all you do to keep us so inspired!
This is such a fun card! I just love how you created the overall sentiment and made it a shaker too! Perfect for a crafty buddy!
