Welcome to Day 4 of the design team’s collaboration week with Cosmo Cricket! If you haven’t been following along on both the Neat & Tangled and Cosmo Cricket Blogs all week, be sure to leave a comment on every post this week for a chance to win (a) a $25 gift certificate to the Neat & Tangled Store and/or (b) a 12″ Just Add Watercolor Paper Deck. Trust me, you want this!!
Seriously, these Just Add Watercolor Pads are filled with beauty! It was so hard choosing a pattern to work with. It was even harder forcing myself to cut into them. I heat embossed the My Favorite sentiment after cutting off the arrows since they would’ve interfered with the gold blossoms. I love the slightly simpler version of the sentiment, too!
After watercolouring with Gansai paints, I created a few embellishments for the top of the card using the Turkey Talk Dies. The glimmer red scallops were created with the turkey die and the speech bubble, clear embossed with Falling Hearts, was die cut with the speech bubble die.
I sandwiched those die cuts with a doily between hand-cut patterned paper from Avery Elle’s Everyday paper pad and stitched everything together. To finish, I added a couple of enamel triangles to draw the eyes across and down the card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
