{Winnie & Walter Video} Chinese New Year Wishes

Hi, everyone! I’m back to showcase a few more amazing new stamp sets from Winnie & Walter. To create this Chinese New Year card, I used Scenery: The Party Hangover, The Big, the Bold and Party, and The Party. I also used The Big, the Bold and Happy for the “new year” part of the sentiment. All of these new stamp sets will be available for purchase tonight at 10:00 p.m. CST!

Traditionally, Chinese New Year is celebrated with a lot of red and gold and those are the main colours featured here. I snuck in a bit of silver and grey to provide a contrast and help ground the bright colours. A year or two ago, you would’ve rarely seen me heat emboss but lately it’s become an addiction. I love that I can get quick and easy shimmer and shine, plus great coverage, with this technique.
