Kim is sharing this card on the Paper Smooches Blog today. It features the Cool Dudes stamp set and coordinating Cool Dudes Icons. I started by creating a stitched snow hill using both the Stitched and Borders 1 dies. Then I die cut two other stitched hills into the background before adhering the white panel to the card base with foam tape. After stamping the snowmen on to their respective die cuts, I coloured them with Copic markers and I adhered them to the card with foam tape. I placed the large snowman slightly behind the hill and the small one in front of it.

I die cut five vellum snowflakes using both the Snowflakes and Large Snowflakes die collections. After determining their placement, I stamped the sentiment and adhered the snowflakes to the card. The three that are embellished with white enamel dots were adhered with glue dots and/ the other two snowflakes were adhered with glossy accents so the adhesive wouldn’t show through the vellum.

This is a design that I could quite easily mass produce. Only 23 days ’til Christmas and I still have a ton of cards to make and mail. Eeek! How are your holiday cards coming along?

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Oh so sweet! I love those little snow dudes! And the stitched hill is awesome! But the vellum snowflakes…swoon! They have my heart! Ha ha! Such an adorable little scene! Loooooove!
ps – I am always scrambling to get cards done in time!!! No matter how early I start! Ha! They're all different, so it's my bad, but still! It's part of the pressure! Ha ha!
