Kim shared this card on the Paper Smooches Blog last week. It features the A Blessed Christmas stamp set and coordinating Blessed Icons dies. I hand-cut the patterned papers the way my friend Jocelyn Olson so expertly cuts hers!
I die cut the angel from Tim Holtz distress watercolour cardstock and stamped the image with Ranger Archival ink. Then I watercoloured the image with Gansai watercolour paints.
I used the Ovals 1 dies to create the opening which features the angel. The stitched frame was made with the Dots & Dashes dies and I added photo corners die cut with the Toppers dies. All of the patterned papers are from Studio Calico’s Brighton Pier 6×6 paper pad.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Emily this is a beautiful card, love your watercolouring, the tones are so subtle.
I love this card – it´s just wonderful.
I usually use watercolor pencils, but I do like the effect you got with the pans of color. I especially admired the effect of the silver color. I guess I will need to do a little shopping again. Thank you for the informative and entertaining video.
This is the sweetest Emily. I love the colors.
So pretty, Emily!!! Love it!
Gorgeous, Emily… love the addition of the cloud background – perfection!

Such a soft-coloured, pretty card! I like the little hit of brightness with the one corner that coordinates with her wings. 🙂
So pretty…love it!
This card is gorgeous!! I loved it when I saw it on the PS blog. The colors, the soft watercoloring, the photo corners–they all look so pretty. Thank you for the shout-out! 🙂
