Welcome to the Mama Elephant March Design Team blog hop! Our March release is now live and available for purchase in the store.

To celebrate the new release, Mama Elephant is giving away one of each of the new stamps released! Winners will be chosen at random from the collective blogs in the Stampede. Winners will be announced on the blog on the last Stamp Highlights Day.

Today, I’m featuring the Make a Wish stamp set. I used the ‘Go On and Celebrate’ sentiment, which I stamped on a tuba cut with my Silhouette Cameo. I love that this sentiment could be used for any congratulatory occasion, aside from birthdays.

I wanted to make it look like party noise was coming out of the tuba so I used the Confetti Creative Cuts for hot pink and silver stars and added sequins of various colours, shapes and sizes. I also stamped three stars in the bottom right hand corner.

The bright and happy Sunshine cardstock from Simon Says Stamp cuts beautifully in the Cameo. The patterned papers are from Amy Tangerine’s Plus One 6×6 paper pad.

You have up to 3 chances to qualify to win one of the 4 new stamp sets! Just leave a separate comment for each!

  1. It is a versatile sentiment. The tuba looks great. Using the sequins for "music" was a good idea. Great card.

  2. Emily, this is awesome!!! I just returned from a trip to New Orleans and your card reminds me so much of the incredible vibe and energy of that amazing city! I especially LOVE the confetti coming out of the tuba!!! SO FANTASTIC!

  3. Liked on facebook (both you and ME!) Thanks for the opportunity to win. I'm loving large sentiment stamps as focal points. Thanks for the inspiration!

  4. Such a fun, celebratory card! I love how you stamped the bold sentiment over the tuba and on to the background. And the confetti stars and sequins coming out of the tuba are great!
