Welcome to the second Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge in March! This week’s challenge is Mother’s Day or Special Girl which means you need to create a card for Mom or a special girl. We’re having our Mother’s Day challenge now since it’s celebrated on March 30th in the U.K and Ireland. For those of us who don’t celebrate it ’til May, we could get our cards done early. 😉

“Mommy, you made Panda wear the same clothes as you!” That’s what my son said as he watched me paper piece sweet Mindy and her little bear. Oh, how I love this stamp! I stamped Mindy directly on to the white panel die cut from Mama Elephant’s Femme Frames and coloured her hair and skin with Copic markers. The sentiment is from Mama Elephant’s Lovely Mums stamp set. All of the patterned papers are from BasicGrey’s Fresh Cut 6×6 paper pad, including the corners die cut from Paper Smooches’ Toppers dies. I used a white gel pen to fill in the polka dots on the distressed charcoal paper. The card base features Simon Says Stamp’s Surf Blue cardstock.

One winner will be chosen at random to win a $50 gift voucher to the awesome Simon Says Stamp Store!
It could be you!
I hope you will play along with us this week!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Wednesday. 🙂
